Otto Kunz founded Great Oak Consulting LLC in 2022. He previously founded Tax Credit Advisors, LLC in 2000. He is a technologist with over twenty-five years of experience in manufacturing technology and related software development. Since 1994 he has worked with companies throughout the United States and Canada in order to secure funding for technical development, supporting efforts to improve technological competitiveness in North America. His technical background, coupled with his experience in accounting and tax credit consulting, have placed him in high demand. He has spoken before a wide range of industry and government groups. He is now focused on helping small and growing businesses to reach the next level of development. Otto holds both an undergraduate degree and an MBA from Northeastern University, and completed postgraduate work in taxation at Clark University. In addition to his work with TCA and GOC, he has been a member of the adjunct faculty at Assumption University in Worcester, Massachusetts since 2001 where he lectures on taxation and related topics. He is also a faculty member of the Boston Tax Institute.

Karen Bublitz Kunz is the Executive Vice President of the company. Her many years of experience in public accounting, tax credit consulting, and her specific mastery of regulatory compliance document preparation are invaluable elements of the advisory services we provide to our clients as they work to continue on their paths to success. Karen earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, and her MBA at Clark University. She has been a CPA since 1998.

Sandy brings her considerable organizational and analytical skills to bear in a wide variety of applications as our Director of Operations. She has substantial experience in managing demanding schedules and timetables, and helps each of our clients to navigate the path toward successful claims. She is a graduate of Hofstra University, and is an accomplished professional in the field of research credit analysis and claim preparation.
